Toyota Fortuner Legender made its official debut in the Indian market at the start of last year. This top trim level in the Fortuner range gets some aesthetic changes such as a restyled front fascia and a changed interior theme, along with additional equipment and features.
But this beauty is priced aggressively at an ex-showroom price of Rs 42.82 lakh for RWD and Rs 46.54 lakh for 4WD. Therefore, a few existing Fortuner customers opt for a modification process to give their standard SUV a Legender appearance.
One such illustration is the Toyota Fortuner transformed into a gold-wrapped Legender by Crave Design. To begin with, the front end has been completely overhauled and gets a slimmer front grille with a piano black finish and sleeker LED headlights with LED DRLs identical to the Legender variant. The SUV is now painted in custom Bronze-Gold paint with Kamakazi ceramic coating and Glasurit scratch-resistant hyper gloss clear coating.
In the side profile, there are golden and black alloy wheels that are complementary to the rest of the SUV. Other features like ORVMs, door handles, and roof rails are painted in piano black, but the roof is body-coloured. Speaking of the rear end, the stock taillights are replaced with aftermarket LED units, which give it a more classy and swash-buckling look. The notable thing is that all the chrome highlights on the exterior are transformed to piano black, save the Toyota emblems on the tail and nose section.
While there are a plethora of aesthetic changes made to the SUV, there are no mechanical changes have been made. Also, there are no interior alterations noted. The modification process is done in such a neat and clean way that it is impossible to differentiate between the original Legender and the transformed one.
