As Toyota recently launched the Yaris and successfully disrupted the sedan culture of India, it seems like they are preparing for the second wave with their C-HR SUV. Hyundai Creta is their primary target and going by the sporty design, it won’t be wrong to judge that buyers will think twice before making a choice.
Still, Hyundai has already updated the Creta with a bigger and bolder grill, leaving no scope of existence for other segment rivals like Terrano and Duster. Parallel to this universe, Tata H5X is also going through high levels of testing and getting ready to add spice to this premium city specific space for cars.
C-HR was first seen at 2016 Geneva Motor Show, flaunting boomerang inspired tail design that looks unconventional and refreshing for Indian buyers. As they bring a spoiler on top of everything, C-HR definitely looks the coolest of all in its size segment.
The car comes with leather wrapped interiors, 8-inch infotainment system, 9 speaker JBL sound system and sporty steering wheel. Indian version may not get the collision warning system, pedestrian detection, road sign assist and adaptive cruise control feature. They are expected to price the new C-HR in INR 11-14 lakh bracket.
