Toyota has hiked the price for the Innova Hycross for the first time since its launch in the Indian market. Toyota also introduced a new variant of the Hycross with the price hike news. This new variant is Hycross VX (O) and it will sit between the ZX and VX variants.
The price hike across all petrol variants is by Rs 25,000 and the hybrid variant is now 75,000 more expensive. Innova Hycross petrol variants get a 1.3 to 1.37% hike while the Hybrid variant will cost 2.59 to 3.12% more.
Toyota Innova HyCross G petrol base variant is now Rs 18.55 lakh, and the GX petrol variant is Rs 19.40 lakh. After the hike, the Hybrid variant costs Rs 24.76 lakh, and the upcoming VX (O) will cost Rs 26.73 lakh. The ZX variant starts at Rs 29.08 lakh, and the top ZX (O) starts at Rs 29.72 lakh. The price increase could be the result of the Innova Crysta diesel price announcement.
The upcoming new variant will be available in 6 and 7-seat configurations. Besides the VX variant’s features, the VX (O) will have some extra features. A panoramic sunroof with mood lighting, wireless Apple CarPlay, a 10-inch infotainment system, LED fog lamps, and 6 airbags.
The 7-seat variant receives two captain seats along with an Ottoman function for the middle row. It is also available in an 8-seat configuration with bench seats in the second and third rows and three-point seatbelts for all passengers. Toyota provides the new Hycross with a 3-year/1 lakh kilometre warranty. It can be extended to five years/220,000 kilometres, and an eight-year/160,000-kilometre warranty on the hybrid battery.
