Toyota Land Cruiser Heritage Edition Officially Revealed

Toyota has recently revealed a Heritage Edition for its Land Cruiser LC200 SUV for the Middle East markets. The Land Cruiser Heritage Edition will be available to the customers in the Middle East with either a petrol V6 engine or a V8 engine. The brand has equipped the special-edition variant with a host of new features to distinguish it from the standard version of the SUV.

Coming to the front fascia, the updated model has been imparted a redesigned front bumper in addition to getting a redesigned wheels setup. The brand has imparted the Heritage Edition with lesser chrome treatment when compared to the standard variant of Land Cruiser while the major differences are based on the different powertrain options.

The Toyota Land Cruiser Heritage Edition with a V6 petrol engine has been devoid of projector headlamps while the brand has equipped it with a steel wheels setup. The V6 engine variant features barn-style door at the rear with a spare tyre mounted on the tailgate while the brand has skipped the grille extensions for this version.

On the other hand, the V8 petrol engine variant of the Land Cruiser has been equipped with a wider grille extension in addition to featuring projector headlamp units as well as an alloy wheel setup. The V8 variant further features different graphic detailing when compared to the V6 variant while has been shod with roof rails as well as sequential turn signals.

The V6 variant of the Toyota Cruiser has been imparted a different outlook inside the cabin also. The brand has equipped the variant with grey fabric upholstery in addition to offering a regular audio unit compatible with CD, USB, AUX as well as Bluetooth connectivity. The cabin has been further equipped with single-zone climate control.

Coming to the V8 petrol engine variant, the brand has equipped the cabin with beige upholstery while the headrests have been embroidered with ‘Heritage Edition’ badging. The cabin further gets a dual-zone climate control system while the dashboard has been shod with a 10.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system, reverse camera and more. The brand has equipped the V8 version with a sunroof while the cabin features a powered driver seat as well as an air compressor in the boot.

Powering the Toyota Land Cruiser V6 Heritage Edition is a 4.0-litre V6 petrol unit that is good for 271HP and 385Nm. The engine comes mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. On the other hand, the 4.6-litre V8 petrol engine is good for 304HP and 439Nm while the engine is mated to a 6-speed automatic gearbox. The power is offered to all the four wheels at a time, for both the variants. The Toyota Land Cruiser Heritage Edition is expected to replace the standard Land Cruiser LC200 variant in the international markets in the coming months.
