Toyota offers four trim levels for the Urban Cruiser Hyryder. The SUV will have three powertrain options: Neo Drive, self-charging strong hybrid electric, and E-CNG. The CNG variant will only be available in S and G grades.

The 1.5-litre THS engine powers the self-charging strong-hybrid electric version. This engine is equipped with an e-drive transmission. The gasoline engine produces 91 bhp and 122 Nm of torque, while the electric motor produces 79 bhp and 141 Nm. The combined output of the strong-hybrid version is 114 bhp.
Suzuki's 1.5-litre K-series engine comes with Integrated Starter Generator (ISG) technology. It produces 101 bhp and 135 Nm of torque in the Neo Drive version. This engine is available with a five-speed manual and a six-speed automatic transmission.
