Yi Technology, a Xiaomi backed brand has officially launched their Yi Smart Car Dash Camera in India at a price tag of INR 5,899. The camera is a monitoring system that can be installed in your car for recording videos while you are driving. Some of the other products of the company portfolio include a Yi Action Camera, Yi 4K Action Camera, and the Yi Home Security Camera. The camera can be availed from Amazon India in Space Grey colour while the brand is also expected to launch the Golden shade later this year.
The Yi Smart Car Dash Camera has been equipped with a 2.7-inch 16:9 LCD screen that offers a widescreen preview and playback. A high glass resolution lens with f/1.8 aperture has been used by the brand to offer maximum clarity in Night Vision mode as well as to offer a wide field view.
The main purpose of the Yi Smart Car Dash Camera is to record the daily road events which can be helpful at the time of need. The camera can be attached to the windscreen of the car for recording videos at 1080p at 60fps, 1080p at 30fps. The camera offers 1296p of resolution for capturing high-quality images. It also features a microSD card slot that can be used for saving a large amount of data directly onto the SD card.
In order to deliver a real-time intelligent warning to the driver, the brand has equipped the Yi Smart Car Dash Camera with ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistant System). The camera offers safety precautions to the driver with the help of Forwarding Collision Warnings by detecting the actual distance in the car ahead of you. The customers can playback their recording by using the Yi app available on both iOS and Android OS and connecting their camera via Wi-Fi. The G-sensor allows the Smart Dash Camera to automatically record and save videos in case of emergencies.
