Staying true to its promise to unveil a custom motorcycle at the EICMA 2019, Royal Enfield has officially revealed the Twin FT 750 at the auto show. Based on the RE 650 Twins, the all-new Flat Tracker has been specifically designed in association with Harris Performance, UK. Though rather uncertain, if the brand plans on bringing the custom project into reality, the flat tracker can help it compete in the US racing market that is currently being dominated by Harley-Davidson.

Based on a brazed steel tube chassis, the design language of the motorcycle complements the old school charm offered to it. With an adjustable swingarm as well as the steering angle and yokes, the motorcycle can be brought to utmost stability while riding.

Coming to the other custom motorcycle components, the Harris Performance has equipped the Royal Enfield Twin FT 750 with 41mm USD forks from Ohlins at the front while the rear has been equipped with high-end Ohlins TTX36 monoshock suspension. Adding to the aesthetics are the 19-inch RSD traction rims, equipped at either side of the custom-made motorcycle.

The braking duties on the motorcycle have been kept authentic with a single disc brake with Brembo callipers at the rear while the front disc brake has been given a miss. The 647cc, twin-cylinder, air-cooled engine borrowed from the 650 twins powers the Twin FT though the brand has offered the motorcycle with a 750cc bore kit which adds to its unique racing capabilities.

The carbon fibre detailing adds to its premium stance while the brand has equipped the custom motorcycle with an S&S exhaust system. Though the brand has not yet disclosed its plans to bring out the road-inspired variant of the Royal Enfield Twin FT 750, one can expect it to be a huge hit if and when launched in India.

When we talk about the royal motorcycle modifications that are far unique and distinguished from the rest, Rajputana Custom Motorcycles is the one that never ceases to amaze the audience with their superiority. Their recent modification based on the Royal Enfield Classic 500 has been christened as ‘Ranisa’, paying tribute to the rich cultural history of Rajasthan.

Coming to the splendid design, the modifiers have equipped the motorcycle with a unique fuel tank design which now features special custom-made emblems of the King (Raja) and Queen (Rani) on either side. Apart from this, the custom fuel tank also features the official Rajputana Custom Motorcycles emblem in the golden shade with excellent detailing.

The custom-made 500cc Royal Enfield motorcycle has been equipped with a retro-inspired headlamp unit while the modifiers have replaced the telescopic forks at the front with a unique USD suspension setup, which is responsible for handling the beefier tyre well on the roads. The Bobber-style language of the motorcycle is further enhanced by a custom single-seat saddle adorned in royal burgundy shade leather. The rear tyre of the motorcycle has also been replaced by a chunker unit.

The 500cc Royal Enfield ‘Ranisa’ has been further equipped with a unique retro-inspired custom air filter at the side. Apart from this, Rajputana Customs has also changed the stock rear suspension of the motorcycle with a custom unit. The combination of matte grey and blackened-out body panels further offer the modified motorcycle an attention-worthy stance. The other mechanical updates made to the motorcycle include a custom exhaust unit that further offers ‘Ranisa’ a low-frequency exhaust sound.

As of now, it is not confirmed whether the modifiers have tweaked the power and torque figures of the custom-made motorcycle. To jog your memory, the stock model of the Royal Enfield Classic 500 is powered by a 499cc single-cylinder air-cooled fuel-injected engine that is good for producing 27.2 BHP of maximum power and 41.3 Nm of peak torque. The engine is mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox.

According to the recent buzz, Royal Enfield will also be participating at the upcoming EICMA auto show, which is all set to commence on November 5, 2019, in Milan, Italy. The Chennai-based brand is expected to showcase its 2020 motorcycle range at the upcoming event though there is no official confirmation as of yet.

The earlier rumours suggested the brand to unveil the production-ready variant of the Royal Enfield KX concept (Bobber 838) at the EICMA 2019 but as per the latest details available, it seems rather impossible since the brand unveiled the concept KX at the EICMA 2018 and the production-ready variant will take some more time to make a global debut.

The possible guess goes out to the brand’s much-awaited 2020 motorcycle range. Royal Enfield is expected to unveil the 2020 BS6-compliant models of the Classic 350 and Classic 500. It is high time for the brand to unveil the new engine variants at the EICMA 2019 since the models have been spotted testing quite a few times on the Indian roads.

Apart from the new Classic series, the manufacturer is also expected to unveil the production-ready 2020 Royal Enfield Thunderbird X at the event in Milan next week. One of the most anticipated motorcycles from the brand, the 2020 variant of the Thunderbird X has been equipped with major updates in terms of design and specifications.

The updated motorcycle was recently spotted testing on the Indian roads in three different variants which further features different touring accessories. Apart from the cosmetic changes, one can also expect the BS6-compliant engine to be offered on the 2020 Thunderbird X. The updated motorcycle is expected to carry a premium of around INR 10,000 to INR 15,000 over the current-gen BS4 variant.

In addition to this, the popular motorcycle manufacturer is highly likely to unveil a custom motorcycle at the upcoming EICMA 2019. Though no major details have been surfaced on the same, one can expect it to be powered by the Royal Enfield’s 650cc twin-cylinder engine.

Guns and Hoses, a custom paint shop in Maharashtra, recently worked on a 2014 Royal Enfield Classic 350 and have christened the modified motorcycle as TAMBA, the copper metal.

The modifiers have offered a rather unique look to the 350cc street cruiser motorcycle. Inspired by the traditional Indian metal, Guns and Hoses has infused several copper details on its body panels. The fuel tank of the motorcycle features a pure copper leaf detailing, which has been further topped with rustic strokes.

Royal Enfield Classic 350’s single-channel ABS variant was launched in India back in September 2019 at a price tag of INR 1.45 lakh (ex-showroom). The new variant of the Classic 350 cruiser is one of the most affordable variants of the motorcycle that features a single-channel ABS as standard. Earlier known as the Classic 350 S, the brand has officially listed the new 350cc variant on its official website by the name Royal Enfield Classic 350 X, keeping the name identical with the Bullet X series.

At present, the motorcycle variant is only available to the customers in Tamil Nadu and Kerala. Some reports also suggest the brand to make the “X” variant available in other Indian cities in the next phase of launch.

The Royal Enfield Classic 350 X gets a price tag of INR 9,000 lesser than the standard Classic 350 variant, which is currently available in the market at a price tag of INR 1.54 lakh (ex-showroom). The brand is offering the single-channel ABS variant of the Classic 350 in Pure Black and Mercury Silver colours.

Coming to the major changes, the “X” variant of the motorcycle features blackened out components in addition to getting a redesigned fuel tank. The 3D emblem equipped on the dual-channel Classic 350 has been replaced with a 2D design for the Royal Enfield Classic 350 X variant while the tank pads have also been given a miss.

Apart from a few cosmetic changes, the engine specifications remain mechanically unaltered. Powering the motorcycle is the same 346cc BS4-compliant single-cylinder air-cooled engine that is capable of churning out a maximum power of 19.8 Bhp @ 5,250 rpm and a peak torque of 28 Nm @ 4,000 rpm. The engine is mated to a 5-speed transmission.

The Royal Enfield Classic 350 X features a disc brake at the front mated to a single-channel ABS while the rear has been equipped with a drum brake setup. The suspension duties are handled by telescopic forks at the front and twin gas-charged shock absorbers at the rear.
