Kia Sonet GT Interior Photos Leaked: After the very successful launch of the Kia Seltos, the brand has been able to establish itself as one of the niche brands in the Indian automotive segment when it comes to offering all the premium features with an affordable price tag. With the second product, Kia Carnival regaining the command, the most anticipated third product from the brand, the Kia Sonet is now making rounds in the news.

The compact SUV from the brand is expected to officially launch in the Indian market sometime by the end of the year 2020. The SUV is expected to come with Hyundai Venue-inspired engine options though the brand has gone rather far in offering a premium and plush interior design language to the Sonet. The chunkier SUV has been imparted an all-premium look which is further accentuated on the sporty GT line.

The brand has equipped the Kia Sonet GT variant with contrast red stitching on the plush leather seats while the overall black and beige colour scheme adds to its premium outlook. The Transys-made seats have been ventilated while the AC vents can be seen on the centre console.

The centre of the dashboard has been equipped with a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system which is expected to offer premium quality images in addition to getting connected car technology as seen in the Kia Seltos. The cabin of the compact SUV has been further adorned with a similar Seltos-inspired instrument panel.

The AC vents at the front have been surrounded with faux aluminium chrome detailing which is further carried onto the gearbox housing. The brand has equipped the SUV with a dedicated pad for wireless charging and USB connectors. The SUV will feature multiple riding modes while GT trim is expected to get a Bose surround system as well as an automatic gearbox as an option. The cabin material on the upcoming Kia Sonet is expected to be rather “extra” just like all other products from the brand are.

According to recent reports, the Kia Sonet compact SUV is expected to be launched in India by August 2020. Kia has been successful in creating a wide fan base for its Kia Seltos SUV as well as the Carnival MPV in the Indian markets while the introduction of the Sonet at the Auto Expo 2020 was also appreciated by the audience.

The reports further suggest that the production-spec variant of the 2020 Kia Sonet is expected to make its world debut sometime around mid-2020 while the Indian markets will be getting the SUV in August this year. Complying with the country’s “small car” regulations, the Kia Sonet is less than 4m in length and is the brand’s first-ever small car.

Differentiating from Hyundai Venue on a basic level, the brand has officially imparted the Sonet with a muscular outlook as compared to the Venue while the engine specifications for both remain the same.

Coming to the exterior specification of the SUV depicted in the video, the brand has equipped it with LED headlight set up at the front mated to sleek LED DRLs. The Kia Seltos X-Line concept was unveiled by the brand at the Auto Expo 2020. The recently revealed SUV is a heavily accessorized variant of the very famous Kia Seltos that has taken the Indian automobile industry by a storm. According to the latest buzz, the brand is expected to launch the production variant of the X-Line concept by the festive season this year thus targeting maximum sales.

The Seltos X-Line concept that was showcased at the Auto Expo 2020 is entirely different from the one showcased at the LA Auto Show back in 2019. The India-spec Kia Seltos X-Line features a matte grey paint scheme that acts as a good start for conveying the aggressive nature of the SUV. It has been further equipped with the authentic “tiger-nose” grille at the front which features multiple air intakes and sports an X-Line badging with orange accents. The front bumper of the accessorised SUV features orange inserts that impart it with a sporty look while the blacked-out air vents as well as the “Seltos” badging on top accentuates its aggressive profile.

The overall body language of the Kia Seltos X-Line concept is complemented with the addition of multi-spoke alloy wheels finished in matte black shade. The roof of the SUV has also been imparted with a blacked-out colour scheme which is also carried onto the other body panels. The brand has further imparted the similar orange accents to the faux exhaust tips while the silver diffuser further adds to its “mean demeanour”.

The interiors of the new concept feature an all-black theme with quilted seats and a flat-bottom steering wheel with orange stitching to match with the exterior colour combination. The badass SUV with stronger performance and noteworthy design language will be launched in India as an urban crossover that can be used on a regular basis. The X-Line production variant will feature the similar 1.4-litre turbo-petrol engine that powers the stock variant of the SUV. The brand is further expected to rule out the base diesel and petrol variants for the premium X-Line series while manual and DCT gearboxes will be available to the customers as an option.
