The much awaited small car from Datsun, Redi-Go is all set to make an entry with its official launch on 1st June 2016. The car would be one of it’s kind with compact dimensions and loads of utility. It is available for pre-order and can be booked through the Nissan-Datsun dealerships around the country.
Datsun Redi-Go comes with a 3429 mm of length, making it straightway 249 mm shorter than the KWID. Most of the loss would be covered within the engine bay and the boot while tall headroom will provide a more airy feel to the passengers inside. The ground clearance of 185 mm makes it perfect for the Indian odd roads.
Datsun Redi-Go to Launch in India on 1st June 2016
It is built on an all new YUKAN design language and flaunts a lot more than a traditional entry level hatch of its kind. Datsun has made it sure that it does not count even a single visual comparison with the KWID while both of them will try to outrun the segment king Maruti Suzuki Alto.
Redi-Go is powered by a 0.8 L petrol motor from KWID and returns a mileage of 25.17 kmpl, despite of the fact that it is around 25 kg lighter than the same. The need for a 1000 cc version with AMT has also been slotted for some other time in it’s life cycle. It is expected to carry a price tag between INR 2.5-3.5 lakh. It will miss the KWID’s touchscreen infotainment system.
