According to recent reports, the Husqvarna Vitpilen 401 and Svartpilen 401 are expected to be launched in India by the end of this year. The motorcycles were previously expected to be launched as debut products from the brand though surprisingly, the India Bike Week 2019 witnessed the launch of lower-displacement Svartpilen 250 and the Vitpilen 250 as the debutant products from the Swedish brand.

The Husqvarna 401 series is currently available in the international markets while expected to make a substantial entry into the Indian market considering the powerful engine and the neo-retro designs. Based on the underpinnings of KTM Duke 390, the Husqvarna Vitpilen 401 features a cafe racer-inspired design language while the Husqvarna Svartpilen 401 features a scrambler design.

Both the motorcycle have been recently updated in the international markets and have been imparted with new colour schemes in addition to minor cosmetic changes. Both the motorcycles now feature a longer seat design when compared to the last-gen variants while getting a longer subframe by 40mm. In addition to this, the Husqvarna 401 series have been equipped with LED headlamps mated to LED DRLs.

Powering the Husqvarna 401 series is a 373cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine capable of offering 44HP of maximum power with an utmost torque of 37 Nm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox.

The motorcycles have been equipped with an all-digital single-pod instrument unit compatible with Bluetooth. In the international markets, the Vitpilen 401 has been equipped with road-focused 17-inch spoke wheels while the Svartpilen 401 has been equipped with off-roading tyres. Whether or not, the international traits will be carried onto the India-specific variants is yet to be seen. One can expect the Husqvarna 401 series to be launched in the market at a price tag around INR 2.40 lakhs (ex-showroom).

BS6 Mahindra Mojo 300 Deliveries Commence: Mahindra officially launched the BS6-compliant model of Mojo in the Indian markets back on July 30 with a starting ex-showroom price tag of INR 2 lakhs. In comparison, the BS4 model was available for INR 1.89 lakhs, so the base model of BS6 Mojo is priced INR 11,000 higher than the last-gen version of the bike.

The updated version has started reaching dealerships and the deliveries have also commenced across India. M/s Sri Lakshmi Venkateshwara Automotives, located at Madanpalli (Andhra Pradesh), has recently delivered a ‘Black Pearl’ Mojo 300 to Mr Vedanarayana Parasar Surabhi. Here are the photos of Parasar Surabhi taking delivery of his Mahindra Mojo:

The motorcycle continues to be powered by a 294.72cc, fuel-injected, DOHC, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine which is now BS6-compliant. The bike generates 25.35 HP of maximum power at 7300 rpm and 25.96 Nm of peak torque at 6000 rpm. In comparison, the BS4 model was good for 25.93 HP of maximum power at 7500 rpm and 28 Nm of peak torque at 5500 rpm. The engine remains mated to a 6-speed transmission. Here is the colour-wise price list for the BS6 Mahindra Mojo 300:

BS6 Mahindra Mojo 300 Price List

  • Black Pearl – INR 1,99,900
  • Garnet Black – INR 2,06,000
  • Ruby Red – INR 2,11,000
  • Red Agate – INR 2,11,000

The above-mentioned prices are ex-showroom pan-India.

In terms of the design, the BS6-compliant model stays more or less the same when compared to the BS4 model. Mahindra Mojo 300 is one of the most underrated motorcycles from the brand that currently lags the attention it very well deserves. Despite having a neo-retro design language, the motorcycle never clicked like some of the other products in its segment. The much-talked-about Ultraviolette F77 electric bike was officially unveiled back on November 13, 2019, and the deliveries were said to commence in October this year. But as per the latest details available, the electric motorcycle will now go on sale in early 2021.

Niraj Rajmohan, the Founder and CTO of Ultraviolette Automotive, recently announced that the company has got an overwhelming response for the F77, and they have spent the last few months working on the looks and technical improvements of the upcoming bike.

Mechanically, the Ultraviolette F77 electric motorcycle comes powered with an air-cooled permanent magnet AC motor that produces 33.5HP of maximum power at 2250 rpm and an impressive peak torque of 90Nm/450Nm (Motor/Wheel) and. The electric motorcycle gets its power from a battery with a maximum capacity of 4.2kWh. It uses three slim lithium-ion battery packs and the whole unit takes 5 hours to charge fully via the standard charger. However, through the fast charger, it can be done only in 1.5 hours. Once fully charged, the bike has a company-claimed range of 130-150km. Coming to the hardware components of the bike, it uses a steel trellis frame with an aluminium head that is suspended on USD forks at the front and a preload-adjustable monoshock at the rear end. The braking duties of the bike are handled by a 320mm front disc and a 230mm rear disc with a dual-channel ABS unit.

KTM Duke 200 Chappie is one of the most amazing custom motorcycles by Autologue Design, based in Pune, Maharashtra. The sci-fi themed street bike is inspired by the movie Chappie and flaunts relatively the same design language. This typical Duke 200 even takes inspiration from Jakusa Design’s Chappie that is based on Triumph Tiger Explorer. The one by Jakusa Design is just a digital rendering while the KTM Duke 200 Chappie by Autologue exists in real life.

The customizers have replaced all the body panels of the KTM Duke 200 with Chappie-themed panels. The headlight has been replaced with a Chappie-inspired fascia that features two ear-like panels. The USD front fork on the left side has been finished in matt black while the one on the right side features orange shade. The front fender has also been removed while both the stock model’s tyres have been replaced with dual-purpose tyres. The pillion seat has made way for Chappie-themed body panels.

Chappie’s fuel tank seems to be made by connecting many small panels together but they are actually mounted on the stock model’s fuel tank. The modifications offered by Autologue Design look amazing and quite unique from every angle. The customizers have even fitted a fog light on the handlebar.

No mechanical changes have been made and the Chappie is powered by the same 199.5cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected engine producing 25 HP of maximum power and 19.2 Nm of peak torque. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox and claims 0-100 kmph in under 10 seconds.

At present, the KTM Duke 200 Chappie body kit is listed on Autologue’s official website for INR 83,200 but the customizers have marked it as ‘Product Not Available’. It is not clear when the body kit will be back in stock and we suggest you contact Autologue Design for the availability details.

Meet Yamaha RX100 Sero Cafe Racer: RX100 is an incredible machine that still rules millions of hearts worldwide. Getting regular queries regarding its availability, we feel that no present-day product is even closer to the feat that Yamaha achieved during that era.

For those who are willing to keep everything behind their passion, this modified RX100 Sero Cafe Racer by JEDI Customs is nothing less than a dream come true. Yamaha RX100 was undoubtedly a very light product but here, it loses some more weight for the best-ever accelerating experience from a 100cc bike.

JEDI Customs have used the best possible alternatives to the decade-old components on this RX100. Instead of a commuter-centric fuel tank, RX100 Sero features a Cafe Racer fuel tank with extra stuffed seats and all-new grippy tyres. The customizers have also equipped the bike with a front disc brake and that makes the package safer than ever. The rear suspension is now gas-charged while all of the non-essential components have been removed from the body.

The front and rear fenders of the motorcycle have been chopped for additional weight saving and perfect Cafe Racer styling. The engine area of the RX100 Sero has been finished in black while the custom-made black exhaust system further creates the perfect contrast. The stock model of the Yamaha RX100 was powered by a 98cc, two-stroke, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine that is good for a maximum power of 11HP @ 7500 rpm and a peak torque of 10.39Nm @ 6500 rpm.

EIMOR Customs, the house of custom motorcycles in Hyderabad, has once again compelled the audience to offer a second look to their recently customized 2010 Royal Enfield Classic 500 motorcycle that has been tailored into a single seat bobber. The customizers have christened the custom motorcycle as Demont which symbolizes a strong and intelligent person cherished by everyone.

The owner of the motorcycle contacted the EIMOR Customs with a clear idea in his mind on what he wants his motorcycle to look like and what mechanical and cosmetic changes he needs them to impart to his loving machine. Though the owner is currently using his Triumph motorcycle as his travelling buddy, he didn’t want his old Classic 500 to be scrapped since there are so many memories associated with it.

Coming to the major customizations imparted to the stock motorcycle, it now features an all-new smaller headlight unit with LED DRLs integrated neatly inside it. In addition to this, the stock fuel tank has also been redesigned and the motorcycle now features a larger fuel tank unit with unique “Royal Enfield” monikers on either side. The overall blend of Royal Blue and Prussian Blue colour with a glossy finish complements the minimal chrome treatment as well as the all-black body panels offered to the motorcycle.

The Demont has been further equipped with a megaphone exhaust unit while the rear of the motorcycle has also been tweaked a bit and now features a redesigned tail light unit as well as indicators. The customizers have further offered the motorcycle with smaller round fenders while the bobber-inspired single seat with leather cladding adds to its surreal beauty.

The customizers have not tempered with the toolboxes on either side considering the air-filter inside though both of them now features a neat off-white LED strip horizontally running across them.

Coming to the mechanical changes, the customizers have equipped the Demont with USD forks at the front while the rear suspension has been left unaltered and features a monoshock unit. Apart from this, the engine and other mechanical bits have been left undisturbed though servicing the parts have made the motorcycle offer optimum power delivery.

Powering the Demont is the same 499cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that is capable of generating maximum power of 27.2HP @ 5250 rpm and a peak torque of 41.3Nm @ 4000 rpm. The engine remains mated to a 5-speed gearbox.

The Bajaj Pulsar NS200 Scrambler you see here has been custom-made by Tokwa Party Garage, based in the Philippines. The basic profile and engine section of motorcycle hint that no changes have been made to the frame to avoid any complications related to the stability factor of the Pulsar NS200.

The bike has been equipped with custom parts that match the paint scheme on the fuel tank. The metallic finish is purely visible on every part, looking amazing on the custom-made visor that feels directly derived from a litre-class cruiser motorcycle.

The facial expressions of this typical Pulsar NS200 are totally different, all thanks to the custom LED headlight unit with a black frame. The raised front fender not just looks good but its a practical addition as well. The front and rear tyres are off-road friendly, getting thick treads for exceptional grip on rough surfaces and all types of terrain. Coming to the rear section, it features a completely naked frame that gets LED taillight on the outer edge and completely empty tail section. The alloy wheels have been kept in the stock condition at both the ends.

The seat of this custom-made Pulsar NS200 scrambler is a single-piece unit, finished in the red shade and carrying ribbed design for the front part. The modifiers have equipped the bike with a custom exhaust system with a raised muffler for better off-road potential and unique looks. The handlebar is clip-on type while the huge belly pan further adds protection to the lower engine components.

Mechanically, no changes have been made and the bike is powered by the same 199.5cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine, producing 23.5 HP of maximum power and 18.3 Nm of peak torque. At present, the stock model of the Pulsar NS200 costs around INR 1.30 lakh for the BS6-compliant version.

Dirt Machine Custom Motorcycles, a modification house in Indore has been known to offer some splendid motorcycle modifications that are bound to grab the attention on the roads and their recently modified Royal Enfield Classic 500 Desert Storm variant is something worth mentioning. The Desert Storm colour variant is one exclusive shade for the already popular Classic series while the customizers have made it even more exclusive by adding performance parts and raising its appeal through certain highlights. The modifiers have christened the customized motorcycle as Royal Enfield Combat 500.

Coming to the cosmetic changes, this 500cc Classic Combat features 120mm front and 150mm rear tyre shod with fine aluminium spoke wheels. The customizers have further equipped the motorcycle with disc brakes at either side and the front end features dual working disc brakes for maximum braking power. Other mechanical updates made to the motorcycle include WP upside-down forks at the front while the rear suspension has been left unaltered as seen on the stock version.

Coming to the cosmetic changes, the motorcycle has been equipped with custom lightweight front and rear fenders. The design of the dual projector headlight on the front remains the same while the rear now features under-seat LED brake light. The modifiers have further offered the Classic Combat with a dual pod instrument console which replaces the Classic’s standard speedometer unit. The toolbox at either side of the customized motorcycles features the “500” sticker in black while the fuel tank has been adorned with “Combat” sticker at either side.

The motorcycle was specifically customized for Nitin Dev, a resident of Indore, who wanted the original accent of the machine to stay alive. It took the customizers almost 45 days to modify the Classic 500 into this beauty. Mechanically, the engine specifications of the motorcycle were not altered since the Classic 500 is already a powerful machine with a 499cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine producing 27.2 BHP of maximum power and 41.3 Nm of highly effective torque.

The Classic Combat features a custom swingarm that makes space for the rear disc. The brand recently discontinued its 500cc line up of cruisers due to negligible demand in the Indian market. For further inquiries and pricing details, you can contact:
