GoGoA1 Hero Splendor Electric Model Has A Mileage Of 151 Km

With the emerging trend of electric vehicles in India, people have now started converting their existing vehicles into EVs. However, this is not an easy process as the conversion kit must be approved by an RTO. Plenty of private players has entered the market, anticipating potential demand. In recent years, electric vehicles (EVs) have become a focal point in discussions about future mobility. Given the prospective demand, the Indian two-wheeler market has seen a surge in new entrants at the manufacturing end.

Meanwhile, the Delhi government has appointed GoGoA1 in accordance with the National Green Tribunal (NGT). This makes them the only company in Maharashtra to take part in a process to convert ten-year-old Hero Splendor motorcycles into electric vehicles. Speaking of the expenses, the Maharashtra-based company charges Rs. 37,700 for its EV conversion kit, with a claimed riding range of 151 kilometres on a single charge. GoGoA1 offers an RTO-Approved electric conversion kit for bikes.

GoGoA1 is attempting to convert gasoline-powered two-wheelers, three-wheelers, and four-wheelers to battery-powered vehicles. According to Shrikant Shinde, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of GoGoA1, they have a strong franchise network across India, including Maharashtra, Gujarat, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, West Bengal, Delhi, and other states. For all franchise owners, GoGoA1 offers options such as partnering for conversion kit installation, battery swapping, and vehicle leasing.

While looking forward to the benefits, the vehicle owners can get from this conversion is that they can use the bikes for a longer period of time. Existing vehicle life span increases are estimated to be 5-7 years. These would also be excluded from the new scrappage policy. Driving old vehicles in high-profile cities with rigorous emission regulations can be a hassle, which could be solved by converting them to electric vehicles in a cost-effective manner.
