Hero Splendor Modified Into Jawa Forty Two – Incredible Transformation

The trend of transforming vehicles from standard to favourite ones is not new. And hence, we often see bikes customised in such a stunning way that we cannot even discern the difference. Today also, we have a bike that has been modified into a Jawa 42 from a Super Splender, and one cannot recognise the original bike. Taking inspiration from the Jawa 42’s design language, a guy from Rajasthan did the customisation work on the two-decade-old Hero Super Splendor.

A Youtube channel named “Reyansh Khichi” posted a detailed video of the modified bike. However, the bike is not a replica but an inspiration of the Jawa 42’s design, and the transformation is done in such a neat way that the bike looks absolutely stunning. Speaking of the design changes, every single panel of the standard bike has been changed. As a part of the transformation process, some parts are custom-made, and some are taken from the Royal Endfield Bullet.

Looking at the front fascia, the motorcycle gets a round headlamp with tiny turn indicators on the sides, and these indicators get blacked-out grilles. As for the instrumental console, there is an all-analogue small cylindrical unit placed there. The handlebar is derived from Jawa while the other parts, like the accelerator, are stock ones. The front forks with rubber gaiters are taken from the Bajaj Pulsar 150, and a disc brake is also installed at the front, which was not available on the stock bike.

Turning to the side profile, the fuel tank is derived from the RE Bullet. There are also graphics crafted on the fuel tank. In this modification work, the original 124cc engine of the Super Splendor has been refurbished and is now in a black motif. Even the motorcycle’s modified exhaust pipe is painted black, resulting in a significantly throatier exhaust note than the stock exhaust note of the original Super Splendor.

At the rear end, this customised Super Splendor features a curved fender inspired by the Royal Enfield Bullet. This rear fender gets a rounded tail lamp and rounded turn indicators. The bike also has a custom-made cushioned seat, which adds to the overall appearance of the motorcycle.
