2022 Honda Hawk 11 Cafe Racer Makes Official Debut; Exclusive Images

At last, Honda has finally debuted its much-awaited 1100cc bike, named Hawk 11, Cafe Racer, during the ongoing 2022 Osaka Motorcycle Show in Japan. This new Honda motorcycle will fill the void left by the recently retired CB1100. Honda has introduced this bike to break the domination of the tourer, cruiser, and ADV segments in the global markets. We have some exclusive images of the newly launched bike, which are courtesy of Asphalt and Rubber.

Hawk 11, a neo-retro cafe racer, is distinguished by its Monza fairing. Since it is comparable to the CB4 Interceptor Concept, it gives an indication of the amount of similarity that may exist between the two motorcycles. Other notable features include a round headlight with DRL and a chrome surround, a tiny windscreen, round rearview mirrors, spear-shaped turn indicators, a low-set clip-on handlebar, uniquely-positioned mirrors, and a sculpted fuel tank. The Honda Hawk 11 gets a single-piece seat.

Furthermore, the long, chromed-out exhaust pipe that sweeps skyward adds to the café-racer appeal. The bike features little fairing and a chassis that is comparable to the Africa Twin. A few tweaks have been made to better fit its cafe racer profile. The massive twin-cylinder engine highlights the beastly nature of the Hawk 11. Powering the all-new Honda Hawk 11 is the same 1082cc engine that is used in its Africa Twin and NT100. Power figures are not yet revealed, though.

In terms of advanced tech features, the bike comes equipped with heated grips, cruise control, throttle by wire system, selectable and cornering ABS, wheelie control, as well as multiple riding modes. Also, the bike gets a fully-digital instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity and navigation. These days, cafe racer bikes are getting popular in the country day by day, but one obstacle to Hawk 11’s release in the Indian market might be the high price tag.
