New Hyundai Tucson Launched in India at INR 18.99 lakh

Hyundai Tucson has been launched in the India at a starting price tag of INR 18.99 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). The car made its first appearance at Auto Expo 2016 while years earlier, it was available in the Indian markets in the older generation design. The low sales forced Hyundai to discontinue the same from the lineup. Back with an even bolder image, the new Tucson comes as a CKD (last generation was CBU, hence over expensive) and slots perfectly between Creta and Santa Fe.in_gal_tl_ext_view01

The car rivals Honda CR-V and Ssangyong Rexton while even deals with those buying the top spec variants of Toyota Innova Crysta and Mahindra XUV500. Tucson measures 4475 mm in length, 1850 mm in width and 1660 mm in height. The wheelbase measures 2670 mm while the boot space is considerable at 513 liters. The practicality can be judged with its impressive lineup of engines, one being the same old 2.0 L petrol from Elantra while the other is an all new 2.0 L diesel motor.
