Suzuki Jimny 4Sport Unveiled Officially; Only 100 Units will Be Sold

The Suzuki Jimny has been one of the much-awaited SUVs in the country. It could be due to the reason that this SUV is coming to give a nip and tuck competition to the off-roader SUV segment dominant Mahindra Thar. However, the wait is not over yet for the Indian audience since, as of now, the maker has unveiled the Jimny 4sport in the Brazilian market. But it’s worth noting here that it is a limited edition model and only 100 units will be sold there.

Speaking of the design and styling of the SUV, it comes with some peculiar components. The use of matte black elements on the wheel arches, bumper, roof and other areas makes it look elegant. Other enticing parts on the exterior of the Suzuki Jimny 4Sport are tubular rock sliders, 4sport badging, blue tow hooks, a custom skid plate and a snorkel that is for enhanced water wading capacity to 600mm. However, with the new skid plates, the approach angle of the Jimny 4Sport decreased to 31 degrees from 37 degrees.

Adding to the off-roading capabilities of the Suzuki Jimny are new Pirelli MTR off-road tyres. These tyres wrap around the 15-inch alloy wheels and provide the SUV with a more rugged appearance. The maker has not only made some elegant updates to the outer profile of the SUV, but the interior also boasts some distinguishing features. It comes with a blue theme cabin with blue accents in various places, including AC vents, seats, and a gear-shifter. In addition, the front seats also get 4Sport embossment.

Apart from the above-mentioned changes, no other updates have been noted. Powering the 2022 Suzuki Jimny 4Sport is the same 1.5-litre petrol engine that powers the standard Jimny Sierra. This engine is designed to belt out 108 PS of max power and 138 Nm of max torque. As far as the SUV’s India launch is concerned, this limited edition is not making its way to our country and we have to wait for the India-spec 5-door Jimny.
