Flipkart’s Big Billion Days sale which began last week offers discounts on a wide range of products. The smartphone and gadget category is significant and has piqued the interest of internet shoppers. People have been expressing strange complaints this time around about the cancellation of their iPhone 13 purchases.
Customers on Flipkart could order the iPhone 13 for as little as Rs 50,000 during the Big Billion Day sale. A large number of them have now taken to social media to express their displeasure. There have been numerous reports of Flipkart orders for the iPhone 13 being cancelled, as well as reports that the refunding process is taking an unusually long time.
From September 23 to September 30, the ninth edition of Flipkart’s renowned “The Big Billion Days” festive sales is live now. According to Flipkart, customers will be able to pre-book items from any category for Rs 1 as a small advance. They’ll have access to over 10,000 new items, including 130 “Special Edition” collectables from more than 90 manufacturers.
“A minor fraction of orders (less than 3% of all orders) have been cancelled by sellers due to anomalies. As a customer-focused e-commerce marketplace, we encourage sellers to prioritise orders and strive to keep customers delighted with their service,” a company spokesperson said. According to Flipkart, nearly 70% of all iPhone orders placed across cities have been successfully delivered by sellers.
During the country’s festive sales, there has been a rush to buy iPhones. The iPhone 13 is among the most popular, aside from the recently launched iPhone 14 and 14 Pro. Apple has discontinued older iPhones, including the iPhone 11, 12 Mini, 13 Pro, and 13 Pro Max, after unveiling its next-generation products.
