Apple has launched the new iPhone 7 and 7 Plus internationally, starting with a price tag of $649 for the iPhone 7 in the 32 GB variant. The pre-orders will start on 9th September 2016 while the availability will be from 16th September 2016. The phone will arrive in India on 7th October 2016. The new iPhone duo carries the same dimensions as the earlier generation while adds up many new positives and negatives into it. The new iPhone comes without a 3.5 mm headphone jack, replacing the same with a lightning connector for earpods. This means the user can only just charge the phone or plug in the earphones at once. The provision of lightning to 3.5 mm connector is also provided in the box. The phone now comes with splash resistant certification and uses the A10 Fusion chip with M10 motion co-processor. iPhone 7 has 2GB RAM and as per the latest details available, iPhone 7 Plus has 3GB RAM.
The iPhone 7 comes with a 4.7 inch, 1334×750 pixel touchscreen while the bigger 7 Plus uses a 5.5 inch, 1920×1080 pixel touchscreen. Both the phones use a 7 MP, 1080p front camera for facetime while the rear on the iPhone 7 is a 12 MP unit. The iPhone 7 Plus get a 12 MP wide angle dual camera for even more sharp imaging than the smaller iPhone.

The physical button on the front on both the phones have been replaced with a tactic feedback button while the stereo speakers have been featured on an iPhone for the first time. The phones are available in 5 shades namely Jet Black (only in 128 GB and 256 GB versions), Silver, Black, Gold and Rose Gold.
