The pricing for the upcoming Apple iPhone XS, XS Plus and XC has leaked online in China, few days before the official unveil of next-generation design lines. The most affordable out of these three, iPhone XC, is said to carry a sticker price of 5888 yuan (INR 62,300 approx) while the other two devices, iPhone XS and iPhone XS Plus, may carry a price tag of 7388 yuan (INR 78,200 approx) and 8388 yuan (INR 88,800 approx) respectively.
The iPhone XS comes with 5.8-inch OLED display while the XS Plus uses a massive 6.5-inch display, both supporting notch enabled design. On the other hand, iPhone XC is carrying a 6.1-inch LCD panel for a reduction in the cost of manufacturing. The entire expected pricing feels genuine in comparison to the present generation price tag of iPhone X at 8316 yuan (INR 87,400 approx). These three models are expected to support the popular 64GB and 256GB internal memory configuration, paired along with the new A12 processor and improved FaceID system with gesture controls. iPhone XC is expected to feature a single rear camera and not just that, a dual SIM version for iPhone XS is also under the radar.
Apple’s 2018 event will take place on September 12 at the Steve Jobs theater in Apple Park Campus, California. The live stream will start at 10:30 PM IST. The inclusion of notch into all three iPhones will mark an end to the standard display layout for iPhone globally. However, the older models will still stay under production in most developing markets. Indian market still gets a majority of its sales number from popular older generation models like iPhone 7 and 7 Plus. All three 2018 iPhones will support wireless charging and Apple’s lightning port for music and connectivity.
