Huawei’s Honor brand is all set to launch their flagship Honor 20 series at an event in London on May 21. In addition to this, the brand has announced the launch of the smartphone series in India on June 11. The brand has initiated emails with “save the date” message which eventually confirms the Honor 20’s India launch to happen next month.
Featuring an in-display fingerprint sensor, the smartphone gets a quad rear camera setup. For the first time in history, the brand is all set to launch three different smartphones under one moniker namely: Honor 20, Honor 20 Pro as well as the Honor 20 Lite, which is already official in the market.
According to the reports, the Honor 20 smartphone features a 6.26-inch FHD+ display while being powered by a Kirin 980 7nm SoC processor. The smartphone is highly likely to feature two storage options: 6GB RAM with 128GB of internal storage, and 8GB RAM with 256GB of internal storage.
Coming to the camera specifications, the Honor 20 flagship smartphone gets a quad rear camera architecture with a 48MP camera with Sony IMX586 sensor, a 16MP camera with 117-degree ultra-wide-angle sensor as well as two 2MP cameras with f/1.75 aperture and f/2.4 aperture respectively, both for macro and portrait shots. The Honor 20 series will also be equipped with a 32MP display-punch-hole front camera.
In addition to this, Honor 20 Pro is expected to feature an OLED display while also getting a quad camera architecture at the back though, there aren’t many details surfaced on the same. Once launched in the market, the Honor 20 series is expected to compete with the likes of recently launched OnePlus 7 and the OnePlus 7 Pro.
