HTC U11 ‘Squeezable Smartphone’ Launched in India @ INR 51,990

HTC U11 has been officially launched in India for INR 51,990. The flagship phone comes with class leading specifications and packs itself in just 7.9 mm of thickness. Premium feel can be had through its one of a kind, 5.5 inch Quad HD Super LCD 5 display (1440×2560 pixels) that uses Corning Gorilla Glass 5 for enhanced safety.

The highlight feature of U11 is that it comes with ‘Edge Sense’ feature which brings a unique way to interact with the phone by ‘squeezing’ the sides, for example, you can turn the front camera on by just squeezing the phone and can click a selfie by squeezing the phone again.

HTC U11 comes with 2.45 GHz, Octa Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor and Adreno 540 GPU for ultimate mobile experience. Internationally, HTC U11 is available in 2 variants: 4GB RAM with 64GB storage and 6GB RAM with 128 GB storage. For the Indian market, HTC has launched only the top-sped model and this makes U11 as one of the best Android smartphones in this price range in India.

The phone runs on Android 7.1.1 (Nougat) with HTC Sense UI, HTC Edge Sense and HTC Companion. U11 supports upto 2 TB of microSD storage while one can choose between a second SIM or a microSD card through it’s hybrid dual SIM slot. HTC offers the U11 with water and dust resistant IP67 certification.

Long list of features on the U11 includes fingerprint sensor, USB-C type audio, 3D audio recording, HTC BoomSound Hi-Fi edition, HTC USonic and active noise cancellation. The Edge sensor on the phone helps the user interact through a squeeze of the phone.
