HTC have officially launched the successor of its flagship model HTC U11+ by the name HTC U12+. The smartphone is priced in the USA at $799 (INR 54,600 approx.) for the base variant. The essential new update is the replacement of all the physical buttons with pressure-sensitive buttons to give HTC U12+ an all innovative look.
The handset is available in 3 stunning that actually gives you an insight on what’s happening in the background. The HTC U12+ is equipped with an Edge Sense 2 interface that allows you to perform operations with tap, squeeze or hold plus a rear-facing fingerprint sensor. It is powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 and displays a 6-inch QHD super LCD display having an 18:9 aspect ratio and 537ppi of pixel density.
The HTC 12+ runs on Android 8.0 Oreo with HTC Sense on top. It gets 6GB of RAM and a dual camera at the rear with 12 MP wide angle and 16 MP telephoto sensor, all equipped with PDAF (phase detection auto-focus) and laser focus. The front gets dual 8-megapixel sensors with an 84 degree field view. The smartphone supports dual-LED flash, and AR sticker, face unlock features and many more.
The HTC U12+ features a woofer and tweeter design in the BoomSound Hi-Fi edition speaker equipped by the company to give you utmost sound clarity. The smartphone gets 64GB and 128GB storage options that can be extended via Micro SD card. It has a 3D glass body that comes in the above mentioned shades with different properties and supports a 3500mAh battery. The HTC U12+ gets Dual 4G VoLTE support, Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection and measures 156.6×73.9×9.7mm.
