The Nova series from Huawei in India saw the entry of the latest member in the family with the launch of the Nova 3 at INR 34,999. This phone was officially launched in China last month and was promised to reach the Indian shores soon, which it has now.
The phone has been launched with a 6.3-inch FHD+ 19:5:9 aspect ratio curved glass display with a notch on the top. It is powered by Kirin 970 SoC and has support for GPU Turbo which promises a 60% increase in performance and 30% battery saving. The phone will provide a 4D Gaming Experience since it is equipped with AI real-time image and sound recognition, and intelligent game vibration that can detect 10 different vibrations for up to 30 different scenes.
The phone comes packed with a 6GB RAM and runs on Android 8.1 Oreo with EMUI 8.2 skin on top. It has a dual camera setup on both the front and the back. The rear camera has a 16-megapixel lens with LED flash, f/1.8 aperture size, PDAF, CAF which is supported by a secondary 24MP rear camera with f/1.8 aperture. The front camera has a 24MP front-facing lens with f/2.0 aperture, supported by a secondary 2-megapixel camera.
It has Face Unlock which can detect your face even in low light conditions, and similar to the Animoji from Apple, the phone features 3D Qmoji. The fingerprint sensor is on the rear and is powered by a 3,750 mAh battery with support for fast charging.
