The first 5G foldable smartphone from Huawei has been officially launched by the name Mate X. The smartphone was initially promised at pre-MWC in Barcelona and gets two OLED panels that open up to an 8-inch tablet when unfolded. At the front, the Huawei Mate X gets a 6.6-inch OLED screen while a 6.38-inch screen at the back. The smartphone gets a price tag of 2299 Euros (INR 1,85,220 approx.) and is available in Interstellar Blue colour.
The Huawei Mate X foldable smartphone gets a Falcon Wing design where a stretchable hinge makes way for a flat finish on either side with no notch display. The smartphone is powered by Huawei Kirin 980 processor with 720 MHz ARM Mali-G76MP10 GPU mounted on top and runs on Android 9.0 (Pie) with EMUI 9.1.1.
The Huawei Mate X gets 8 GB RAM with 512 GB internal storage, expandable via an NM card. It supports a side mounted fingerprint sensor while gets triple rear Leica Cameras with 40MP primary camera, 16MP ultra-wide-angle camera and an 8MP telephoto lens. The back display can be used for selfies. The smartphone runs on 4500 mAh battery with 55W SuperCharge.
