2019 Motorola Razr Leaked in a New Set of Rendered Images

The rendered press shots of the 2019 Motorola Razr, the brand’s first next-gen foldable smartphone has leaked online. The smartphone bears resemblance to the iconic 2004 Razr flip phone but features a display screen on the top as well as bottom which opens up to a single large screen.

The chin at the bottom remains the same while the horizontal hinge can be seen in the images surfaced online. The rear panel of the foldable smartphone features a Motorola Logo while one of the leaked images also clearly reveals the unique Razr box and its contents.

The box for the 2019 Motorola Razr features the Motorola branding on top while gets a charging dock explaining the wireless charging capabilities and the USB Type-C to 3.5mm converter explaining the lack of 3.5mm headphone jack.

Coming to the display, the smartphone is expected to feature a 6.20-inch HD+ display with a notch at the top and a resolution of 2142×876 pixels. According to the reports, the external display might get a resolution of 600×800 pixels, though, there hasn’t been any official confirmation on the same. Powering the next-gen Motorola Razr is an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 processor paired with Adreno 616 GPU (Graphics Processing Unit).

The smartphone is expected to be equipped with a 2730mAh battery with support for fast charging. The new model of Razr will most probably be available in 2 variants, an entry-level model with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, while the 2nd model will come with 6GB of RAM with 128GB of internal storage. The 2019 Motorola Razr is expected to launch in the United States in the coming months though, no specific date has been confirmed yet.
