Moto Z3 Play, one of the Motorola’s affordable yet battery-friendly smartphone has been launched officially and it is indeed the successor to last year’s Moto Z2 with some significant feature additions and a new hardware.
The smartphone belongs to Motorola’s Z Series and supports Moto Mods. It has been officially launched in Brazil with a price tag of R$ 2,299 which is approximately INR 40,400 approx in India. The company is providing Deep Indigo, a single color for Moto Z3 Play.
Coming to the specifications, the smartphone is powered by 1.8GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 636 14nm processor with Adreno 509 GPU and exhibits a 6-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display with a pixel density of 1080 x 2160 and gets a Corning Gorilla Glass for protection.
The smartphone is equipped with aircraft-grade 6000 series aluminum frame. It is available with 4GB of RAM and an optional 32GB/64GB of internal storage which can be expanded via a microSD card up to 2TB.
In terms of camera specifications, it gets a dual camera set up at the rear with the primary being 12MP rear camera with dual-tone LED flash and f/1.7 aperture plus secondary being 5MP with f/2.2 aperture.
The Moto Z3 Play runs on Android 8.1 Oreo and supports a dual sim and a fingerprint sensor which is mounted on the side. It is powered by 3000mAh battery with Turbocharging and gets 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5 LE, GPS, etc as connectivity options. As of now, there is no word on the officially launch of Moto Z3 Play in India.
