Motorola Edge Officially Announced for €699 (INR 57,400)

Motorola Edge Officially Announced: Motorola has officially announced the much-talked-about Edge smartphone at an online event. The all-new mobile phone gets featured with a 6.7-inch FHD+ OLED display with an aspect ratio of 19.5:9 and a 90Hz refresh rate. It also gets Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection.

The Motorola Edge comes with an IP52 rating which makes it water repellant. The smartphone is powered by 2.4GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 765G 7nm chipset with Adreno 620 GPU. It comes paired to 6GB LPDDR4x RAM with 128GB UFS 2.1 internal storage which is expandable up to 1TB with a microSD card. The smartphone runs on Android 10 operating system.

For optics, the Motorola Edge gets a triple rear camera setup. It has 64MP primary rear camera, a 16MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and an 8MP telephoto lens for 2x optical zoom. It also has a Time of Flight (ToF) sensor. At the front, it has a 25MP selfie camera. It features an in-display fingerprint sensor and a 3.5mm audio jack. It comes in a pack with a 4500mAh battery with 18W fast charging.

The smartphone is available in two colour options: Solar Black and Midnight Magenta. It is priced at €699 (INR 57,400 approximately). Moto Edge will go on sale in Italy and other European countries in the coming weeks while in the US, it will be available later this year.
