Next-Gen Motorola Razr Leaked in a New Set of Photos

The next-gen Motorola Razr is expected to be unveiled by the brand at a launch event on November 13, 2019. The recently leaked official images of the smartphone give a clear insight into what to expect from the new model of the Moto Razr. The smartphone bears resemblance to the iconic 2004 Razr flip phone but features a display screen on the top as well as bottom which opens up to a single large screen.

The chin at the bottom remains the same while the horizontal hinge can be seen in the images surfaced online. The previously available T9 keyboard has been replaced with a screen, which can be turned off while the upper flip will also feature a display screen adjacent to the primary camera module.

Coming to the display, the smartphone is expected to feature a 6.20-inch HD+ display with a notch at the top and a resolution of 2142×876 pixels. According to the reports, the external display might get a resolution of 600×800 pixels, though, there hasn’t been any official confirmation on the same.

Powering the next-gen Motorola Razr will be an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 processor paired with Adreno 616 GPU (Graphics Processing Unit). It is expected to get wireless charging capabilities and the USB Type-C to 3.5mm converter as the 3.5mm headphone jack is expected to be left out.

The smartphone is expected to be equipped with a 2730mAh battery with support for fast charging. The new model of Razr will most probably be available in 2 variants, an entry-level model with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, while the 2nd model will come with 6GB of RAM with 128GB of internal storage. The 2020 Motorola Razr is expected to launch in the Indian market sometime in the next year.
