HMD Global has officially introduced the Nokia 220 4G for 39 Euros (INR 3000, approximate). HMD is a Finnish company that has evolved from the business that Nokia sold to Microsoft in the year 2014. Nokia 220 4G is equipped with a 2.4-inch QQVGA coloured screen while the feature phone has a polycarbonate body. The mobile phone has features like a web browser, Facebook, Twitter, and games like the Snake and four try-and-buy games from Gameloft. The handset has a 3.5mm audio jack, wireless FM, MP3 player and Bluetooth as well.
Memory specifications include 16MB of RAM with 24MB of internal storage. Nokia 220 4G is also equipped with a VGA camera with an LED flash. The mobile phone is powered by a 1200mAh battery that allows up to 6.3 hours talk time and a 27 days standby.
Nokia 220 4G is a lightweight phone that weighs just 86.5 grams and it is very comfortable to hold as the feature phone is 121.3mm in length, 52.9mm in width, and 13.4mm in thickness. The handset supports 4G and 2G but not 3G. Nokia 220 4G offers connectivity bandwidth of GSM/GPRS 900/1800 (EU); LTE1-Cat 1, 10Mbps DL/ 5Mbps UL.
The phone is suitable for users with basic requirements. As of now, HMD Global has not announced anything regarding the launch of the 220 4G in the Indian market.
