Nokia 8 Flagship Android Smartphone Leaked

Nokia is set to make a blasting comeback with a couple of new devices and one of them recently leaked on My Nokia Blog. Tagged as the flagship Nokia 8, this was once known as Nokia P1 in the community. After the launch of Nokia 6 in China, it can be safely assumed to be the flagship with the moniker 8. The camera focused phones from Nokia were even earlier launched with named like Nokia 808 and N8.

The leaked video shows that the phone will arrive in two different versions. One is said to support a Snapdragon 835 processor with 6GB of RAM while the other will have Snapdragon 821 with 4GB of RAM. The storage options would vary between 64GB and 128GB. The phone is reported to carry 24 MP rear camera in a circular mold that even carries 4K recording and optical as well as electronic image stabilization.

The front section on the phone has 12 MP camera unit and dual front facing speakers for the most exciting multimedia experience. There are no physical buttons on the front, helping Nokia make the phone waterproof in an easy way. Nokia 8 carries a metal body and features Carl Zeiss optics in both of its cameras. A component with HRM written on it also hints at a heart rate monitor within the new flagship phone.

The phone is expected to support a 5.7 inch, Quad HD display with 515 ppi and Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It will carry a non removable battery that supports fast charging and would definitely get the new USB type C connector for more possibilities. Indian launch for the Nokia brand is still unconfirmed while it would first appear in China, same as the lower spec Nokia 6 did few days back.
