OnePlus has finally made the official debut of its new smartphone, the OnePlus Nord CE 2, after a long wait and teasing campaign. The Nord CE 2 is priced at Rs. 23,999 for the 6GB + 128GB model and Rs. 24,999 for the 8GB + 128GB variant for Indian users.
The smartphone delivers several enhancements over its predecessor at an appealing price range. It boasts a 6.43-inch FHD+ Fluid AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 90Hz and a 16-megapixel front-facing camera, much like its predecessor. However, it is powered by an Octa-Core Dimensity 900 SoC with support for 5G SA and NSA 5G and has support for 8 5G bands, as opposed to the predecessor’s single band.
The smartphone has a triple camera system for photography, which includes a 64MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP macro lens. The primary 64MP sensor features a huge f/1.7 aperture, allowing it to take beautiful photographs even in low-light situations.
The OnePlus Nord CE 2 is available in two different colours: Gray Mirror and Bahama Blue. Grey Mirror, as the name implies, has a mirror-like surface with dazzling overtones that appear like polished metal, whilst Bahama Blue has a gradient finish that delivers intriguing blue and yellow colour changes.
