At a launch event organised on August 28, 2019, by Oppo India, the company unboxed its Reno 2 series which includes three smartphones: Reno 2, Reno 2Z and the Reno 2F. The smartphones are packed with features that perfectly harmonize with the demands of modern buyers.
The smartphones are designed to offer its buyers with immersive and painless gaming experience as the Oppo Reno 2Z comes with an Octa-Core MediaTek Helio P90 12nm processor teamed with IMG PowerVR GM 9446 GPU while the Oppo Reno 2F comes with an Octa-Core MediaTek Helio P70 12nm processor mated with 900MHz ARM Mali-G72 MP3 GPU.
The camera setup includes a main camera of 48MP which is in combination with Sony’s IMX586 sensor in the Reno 2Z however the Reno 2F gets a Samsung ISOCELL GM1 sensor along with an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera and a 2MP portrait lens which is similar to Realme 5 Pro. The smartphones are also equipped with a 2MP mono lens.
The smartphones run on a 4,000mAh battery with VOOC 3.0 fast charging. The company has notified that the Reno 2Z pre-bookings have already started from August 28, 2019, and will go on sale on September 6, 2019, whereas the Oppo 2F pre-bookings will start from September 10, 2019, and will be available on the shelf on September 20, 2019.
The Oppo Reno 2Z is available with a price tag of INR 29,990 while the brand has not revealed the price of Reno 2F yet. The smartphones will be retailed through the company’s online shopping partners Amazon and Flipkart and also through 60,000 offline Oppo stores across the country.
