The prototype model has 88-degree curved sides, and the screen-to-body ratio is expected to be on the higher side in comparison to the rest of the flagship smartphones available in the market right now. The prototype shown by the company doesn’t have a front camera, but its final version is likely to come featured with the Oppo’s under-screen camera technology.

If we talk about the waterfall screen technology by Oppo, it does look good and very innovative. The images revealed by the company clearly shows that the menu comes from the side when we scroll the screen. We are expecting the brand to reveal more details about this technology at the IFA in September 2019 as the company showcased its under-screen front camera tech at the MWC Shanghai event in June this year.

As far as the under-screen front camera technology is concerned, Oppo has become the first smartphone company of the world to introduce a working prototype in the industry. The brand has made plans to hide the components to feature their upcoming smartphones with a bezel-free display.

To make this technology work, Oppo is using a customised transparent material for the display that will feature a redesigned pixel structure, which allows the light to pass through the camera. The sensor for the camera is also larger than other selfie cameras with a wider aperture lens.

Well, we can expect that shortly the company can introduce a smartphone which will come featured with both the technologies. For the under-screen front camera, the company is working on some internal tests and certain algorithms to make it work efficiently. However, the brand is expected to introduce the waterfall screen display soon on the next-gen model of the Find series of smartphone.
