Realme has recently announced that they have postponed the online launch of their Narzo 10 series. The launch event was officially scheduled to take place on March 26, 2020.
As per the earlier notification, the brand confirmed last week that they will launch the Narzo 10 and Narzo 10A smartphones in India on March 26th on Flipkart. But the ongoing circumstances due to the coronavirus pandemic has forced the company to delay the online launch event. The specifications for the smartphones are already known as they are expected to be the rebranded versions of the Indonesia-spec Realme 6i and Realme C3.
There is a 21-day lockdown across the country till April 14, 2020, due to which Realme India CEO Mr Madhav Sheth announced that the company has postponed the online launch and sales of the Narzo 10 series smartphones as they have halted their ‘Make in India’ facility till further notice from the Indian government.
The company has further asked its employees to work from home to stop the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19). Mr Madhav Sheth tweeted:
“During these tough times, we are taking initiatives to:
- Postpone sale of #realmeNarzo series, current stocks on hold.
- Halt our ‘Make in India’ facility till further Govt. notice.
- WFH (Work from Home) for all.
Hope the health of our people & country’s economy gets a minimum impact.”
