Realme is all set to launch its first-ever flagship-grade smartphone, the Realme X2 Pro at an event in China on October 15, 2019. The Chief Executive Officer for Realme India, Mr Madhav Seth confirmed recently that the smartphone will launch in India in December this year.
The display specs of the smartphone have been confirmed by the company that the Realme X2 Pro will get a full HD+ Fluid AMOLED display with 90Hz of refresh rate. It gets a Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection and a glass back with a gradient effect.
As the Realme X2 Pro will be the company’s first high-end smartphone, therefore the technical specifications are also top-notch to make it competent enough to rival the rest of the smartphones in its class.
The smartphone gets a Snapdragon 855+ chipset, which is the latest processor chipset available in the market. The Realme X2 Pro will run on Android 9.0 (Pie) with ColorOS. The smartphone will come with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage with UFS3.0 technology.
Coming to optics, the Realme X2 Pro will feature a quad rear camera setup. It will get a 64MP primary rear camera with Samsung GW1 sensor with f/1.8-aperture, a 13MP Telephoto lens which also has 20x zoom, and is capable to capture 2.5cm macro shots, an 8MP 115-degree ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2MP depth sensor with f/2.4-aperture. For the front, it gets a 16MP selfie camera with f/2.0-aperture.
The smartphone will feature a 4000mAh battery with support for 50W SuperVooC flash charge. The Realme X2 Pro gets an in-display fingerprint sensor, along with Dolby Atmos stereo speakers and Hi-Res audio certification. The smartphone is 161mm in length, 75.7mm in width and has a thickness of 8.7mm. It weighs around 199gms. Speculations are there that the smartphone will get a starting price tag of around INR 24,999 for the base model and will go up to INR 34,999 for the top-end model.
