According to the latest buzz, the Galaxy Unpacked event scheduled in the next month will witness the launch of Samsung Galaxy S20 series. The renders of the smartphone were leaked a few days ago while the live photos have recently surfaced online. The brand is further expected to introduce both the 4G and 5G versions of the Samsung Galaxy S20 and S20+ at the event.
Equipped with an Infinity-O AMOLED display, the leaked images depict the smartphone with a quad rear camera setup that has been arranged in a rectangular manner. The upcoming smartphone series is expected to feature a 2.5D glass display as opposed to the curved glass display available on the Samsung Galaxy S10 series.
The images surfaced online doesn’t show the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S20 and S20+ with a dedicated Bixby button on the side though the production variant is expected to feature one. Though there has been no confirmation received on the exact camera specifications, the rumours suggest the smartphone variants to feature a 12MP 1.8μm main camera sensor in addition to an ultra-wide-angle lens, a telephoto lens as well as a macro lens.
Some of the other rumours also suggest the smartphone to feature the brand’s zoom-in mic feature at the back inspired from the Samsung Galaxy Note 10. The reports also suggest the Samsung Galaxy S20 series’ 5G variants be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 mated to Snapdragon X55 5G modem though the latter is only expected to roll out in the selected countries.
The brand is further expected to offer Exynos 990 processor to the smartphone for some of the selected markets since it is mated to Exynos Modem 5123 that offers 5G connectivity. There is no information on the tentative pricing details of the smartphone series as of yet.
