Samsung Galaxy A40 Photos Leaked Ahead of Official Unveil

The all-new Samsung Galaxy A series is all set to be officially launched by the brand on April 10, 2019. Weeks ahead of the upcoming powerful series, the alleged renders for the Samsung Galaxy A40 have recently surfaced. The smartphone is expected to be priced between Samsung Galaxy A30 and A50 while the leaked press renders have given an interesting view of its overall design.

Coming to the design, the Samsung Galaxy A40 is likely to feature a 5.7 inch, Infinity-U display with minimal bezels, a tiny notch at the front and a super AMOLED display just like its sibling flagship, the Galaxy A30. In order to make it one of the affordable smartphones, the company can also go for an LCD panel for the same.

The back panel expectedly gets a gradient finish while the rear of the smartphone gets a dual camera setup with a combination of standard and ultra wide angle lens, unlike the earlier rumours of it getting a triple rear camera setup. Galaxy A40 is expected to get a 4000 mAh battery with fast-charging capabilities though, the official reports have yet to be confirmed.

The Samsung Galaxy A40 gets a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and features a USB Type-C port as well as a 3.5 mm headphone jack. The smartphone is expected to run on Android 9.0 Pie while being powered by an Exynos 7885 SoC processor, similar to the ones on Galaxy A8 and Galaxy A7.

A40 is likely to get 3GB/4GB of RAM with 32GB/64GB of internal storage to keep the reasonable prices under check. Galaxy A40 is expected to be available in four colour schemes: Black, Blue, Gold and White. The official A series launch to be held on April 10 is expected to unveil the Glaxay A40 in addition to the A90, A20e as well as the A2 Core.
