The ongoing coronavirus pandemic has resulted in the cancellation of many events, though it seems like Samsung’s upcoming launch plans have not been affected by the current situation across the world. It is being reported that the launch of the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 and the Galaxy Fold 2 in August has not been delayed by the brand. As per the latest buzz, the company is planning to schedule an online event.
One major factor that must be taken into consideration is how the current situation of coronavirus pandemic will affect Samsung’s supply chain. The brand has its production lines in Vietnam and because of the current wave of this disease, it will surely face an impact. The sources reveal that Samsung is already preparing for the worst-case scenario expecting that the pandemic will continue its wrath in the second half of the year as well.
However, if the situation caused by the coronavirus doesn’t get under control then Samsung has to postpone the actual release and sale of the Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Fold 2 smartphones because the production lines will not be able to operate under such circumstances.
Recently, the brand introduced its flagship Galaxy S20 series along with the Z flip smartphone at the Galaxy Unpacked event 2020. The Galaxy Z flip smartphone comes in a pack with a 6.7-inch FHD+ Dynamic AMOLED screen with an aspect ratio of 21.9:9. It is powered by 7nm Octa-core Snapdragon 855+ processor that comes paired to 8GB RAM with 256GB internal storage. On the other hand, the brand has launched three smartphones under the Galaxy S20 series that are S20, S20+, and S20 Ultra.
