Samsung’s first 5G smartphone, the Galaxy S10 5G has been officially unveiled in the USA yesterday and will be available exclusively with Verizon Wireless for the first half of 2019. Equipped with an Infinity-O Display, the Galaxy S10 5G is one of the best offerings from the brand as claimed, specifically targeting the new generation.
The Samsung Galaxy S10 5G gets a 6.7-inch Quad HD+ Curved Dynamic AMOLED display with 505ppi of pixel density and a resolution of 3040 × 1440 pixels. The smartphone is powered by an Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 7nm processor with Adreno 640 GPU on top of it, for the US market while some areas will get the smartphone with an Octa-Core Samsung Exynos 9 Series 9820 8nm processor with Mali-G76 MP12 GPU mounted on top. It runs on Android 9.0 (Pie) and is equipped with a 4,500mAh battery with wireless PowerShare.
The smartphone gets 8GB RAM with 512GB of internal storage and gets a triple rear camera set up with a single front-facing camera of 10MP. The smartphone is also equipped with TOF front and rear cameras. So, in total it has 6 cameras. It gets 5G Sub6 / mmWave (28G, 39G) as connectivity options in addition to the others and gets an Ultrasonic Fingerprint Sensor.
