The most anticipated Samsung Galaxy S20 series is all set to be launched by the brand at the Galaxy Unpacked event scheduled on February 16, 2020. Before we get to see the Galaxy S20 Ultra, S20+ and the S20 at the launch event, the live images of the upcoming smartphones have surfaced online and feature similar traits as reported by us earlier. In addition to this, the pricing details of the S20 series has also emerged.
Coming to the Galaxy S20 Ultra, the upcoming smartphone is expected to feature a rectangular rear camera setup which is ineptly wide and covers half of the rear profile. The images leaked online indicates the smartphone to have a periscope shooter in addition to getting three additional camera lens as well as an LED flash. The brand has equipped the smartphone with a protective glass layering over the cameras while the details also indicate 100X zoom capabilities.
Some reports also suggest that the Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra will feature a 108MP primary camera with ISOCELL Bright HMX sensor, a secondary 48MP telephoto lens with 100X hybrid zoom and a tertiary 64MP ultra-wide lens.
In terms of the camera specifications of the Galaxy S20 and S20+, the smartphones are expected to feature a primary ToF next-gen sensor in addition to getting a 12MP+64MP+12MP camera module. The Galaxy S20 series will be available to the customers in Cosmic Black, Cloud Blue, and Rose colour options.
In addition to the technical specifications, the pricing details of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S20 series has also leaked online in Korea. According to the reports, the S20 Ultra will get a starting price tag of 1.6 million won (approx INR 96,500) while the S20+ and the S20 will start at 1.35 million won (approx INR 81,500) and 1.25 million won (approx INR 75,500) respectively.
The pricing in India is expected to be slightly higher than the prices in Korea considering the import duties and taxes. The price for another upcoming smartphone from the brand, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip that is also expected to be launched at the event has also leaked ahead of its launch.
The second-generation foldable smartphone from the brand will be available in the Korean markets at a price tag of 1.6 million won (approx INR 96,500) though the Indian price tag may also vary for the same.
