Samsung Galaxy S9+ was recently leaked through Geekbench listing. The flagship phone, along with Samsung Galaxy S9, is expected to debut at Mobile World Congress 2018 in February. The leaked specification explains the use of Snapdragon 845 processor, 6GB of RAM and Android 8.0 OS as standard over the S9+.
Digital renders from smartphone case manufacturer Olixar explains the expected design of both the phones, clearly showing a center placed fingerprint sensor under the dual camera setup of Samsung Galaxy S9+. The smaller one uses a single rear camera but gets the same flash and fingerprint sensor placement as the bigger Galaxy S9+.
The phone was listed under the name Samsung SM-G965U1. The processor is described as an eight core unit with single core score of 2422 and multi core score of 8351. All rumors given earlier are being proven right by both Geekbench and Olixar render.
Easy access to fingerprint sensor was a much demanded fact from Samsung users as they earlier placed the same on one side of the camera. The placement of heart rate sensor was guessed wrong earlier as it still stays under the flash on the side of camera. Samsung may use Exynos 9 series 9810 for certain markets.
Rumors regarding the new smartphone duo claims a 5.8 inch display for Galaxy S9 and 6.2 inch unit for Galaxy S9+. The phones will carry 64GB of internal storage with expandable memory capacity and a 3.5mm audio jack.
Samsung is expected to bring the best possible features on their flagship phones. The screens on offer will carry 18:9 resolution, packing the huge displays in the minimum possible body space.
Pricing will also be on the higher side, directly rivaling iPhone 8 and 8 Plus around the world. More images regarding both the phones could surface in the coming days.
