Samsung W2018 Flip Phone was recently launched in China for CNY 15,999 (INR 1.56 lakh, approx). The premium phone is here for exclusivity as its price tag is almost 1.5 times when compared to Apple iPhone X.
Chinese market demands flip phones and increase in requests has made China a perfect place for South Korean manufacturer to try its new premium designing. The phone is one of a kind, flaunting two AMOLED displays on both sides of the upper part. One stays on the inner side and other can be used as a standard touchscreen phone.
Elegant Gold and Platinum are two available shades for the phone. Buyers will get a perfect blend of metal and glass from the new Samsung W2018. The phone is powered by a Snapdragon 835 processor that couples with 6GB of RAM as standard.
Buyers can choose between 64GB and 256GB of internal storage. USB Type-C connector is available for ease of charging and wired data transfer. Samsung offers a 2300 mAh battery for its dual screen flip phone. Samsung W2018 is offered with Android 7.1 Nougat as stock while no news for the Oreo update was made official.
Samsung W2018 is the first phone to feature a 12 MP primary camera with f/1.5 aperture. The same can be adjusted to f/2.4, depending upon the light conditions. Front comes with a standard 5MP camera with f/1.9. It even comes with a fingerprint and heart rate sensor at its back.
