Sony has officially unveiled its all-new Xperia 5 smartphone at the IFA 2019. The smartphone is priced at £699 (INR 61,600 approximate) and comes in four colour options: Black, Grey, Blue and Red. The smartphone comes featured with a 6.1-inch 21:9 CinemaWide FHD+ HDR display offering bright colours with Bravia X1 for mobile.
The smartphone comes powered by a Snapdragon 855 7nm processor with 6GB of RAM and runs on Android 9.0 (Pie). The phone has got a triple 12MP rear camera setup that includes 16mm super wide-angle lens, 26mm normal lens with a dual photodiode image sensor and RAW noise reduction and a 52mm lens for portraits and 2x optical zoom. The Sony Xperia 5 also has Eye AF and up to 10FPS AF/AE for precision focus and high-speed shooting.
The Cinema Pro, powered by CineAlta offers a 21:9 movie recording in 4K HDR that promises best results even in backlit scenes or in low light conditions. The phone has got a Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection at its front and back. The Sony Xperia 5 is equipped with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and comes in a pack with a 3140mAh battery with support for Xperia Adaptive Charging.
