Sony has launched the flagship Xperia XZ2 in India for INR 72,990. The phone features a 3D back panel with gorilla glass 5, available only in the liquid black shade around the country. The pricing is highly destructive for Sony India as several other brands offer the same configuration, in a better overall packing, and a much lower price (almost half).
Xperia XZ2 comes with a 5.7-inch display with a Triluminos display and corning gorilla glass 5. The processor on offer is an Octa-Core Snapdragon 845 with Adreno 630. The same chipset is available on almost every flagship device in the market.
Sony offers 6GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage with the phone. It also features expandable storage up to 400GB through microSD card slot. The hybrid dual SIM setup makes Xperia XZ2 a practical option for multiple network users. The water-resistant Xperia comes with Android 8.0 and weighs 198 grams.
In an era of dual rear camera smartphones, Sony XZ2 comes with a 19MP single camera with 5-axis stabilization, predictive capture, and 960 fps slow motion video. A front camera with a 5MP sensor and super-wide angle lens helps in efficient video calling. The phone comes with 3180 mAh battery with wireless and quick charge option.
