Vivo NEX S Technical Specifications Leaked on the Official Website

The official website of VIVO, the Chinese technology company has unveiled the VIVO NEX S, the most anticipated smartphone from the brand much prior to its official launch on June 12. Judging from the specifications and design, there isn’t anything left to introduce more.

The VIVO NEX S would be the brand’s first smartphone with an end-to-end display with no notch and second in the series with an in-display fingerprint sensor. The smartphone will be available on sale in three stunning shades: Black, Red and Blue and is rumored to be launched at a price range of 6998 yuan (US$ 1090 / Rs. 73,400 approx.)

Coming to the smartphone’s specifications, it is powered by 2.8GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 845 64-bit 10nm processor with Adreno 630 GPU and exhibits a 6.59-inch Full HD+ 19:9 IPS display with a pixel density of 2316×1080. The VIVO NEX S gets 8GB of RAM and will come with a 128GB of internal storage.

In terms of camera specifications, it gets a dual camera set-up at the rear with the primary being 12 Megapixels with LED flash and secondary being 5 Megapixels. It is the first ever smartphone that exhibits a pop-up front camera of 8 megapixels with various support options for phase-detection auto-focus, bokeh mode, panorama, HDR etc.

VIVO NEX S runs on Funtouch OS 4.0 based on Android 8.1 (Oreo) and measures 162×77×7.98mm and is powered by 4000mAh battery. The connectivity options include the standard Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz / 5GHz) 2×2 MIMO, Bluetooth 5 LE, GPS + GLONASS and more.
