Vivo S6 5G Officially Announced for 2698 Yuan (INR 29,000)

Vivo has recently announced the S6 5G smartphone at an event in China. The smartphone comes featured with a 6.44-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen. It is powered by 2.2GHz Octa-Core Samsung Exynos 980 8nm chipset with Mali-G76 MP5 GPU. The smartphone runs on Android 10 based on Funtouch OS 10. The S6 5G will come paired with 8GB RAM with two internal storage options of 128GB and 256GB.

For optics, the smartphone gets a quad rear camera setup. It gets a 48MP primary rear camera with f/1.79-aperture, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, a 2MP macro lens, and a 2MP portrait lens. At the front, it has a 32MP selfie camera with night mode. The Vivo S6 5G has a 3D-curved surface back design that is made of lightweight and thin nano-fibre polymer. The smartphone features an in-display fingerprint scanner and a 3.5mm audio jack.

The Vivo S6 5G comes in a pack with a 4500mAh battery with 18W Fast Charging. It is available in three colour options: White, Blue and Black. It is priced at 2698 Yuan (INR 29,000 approximately) for the 128GB internal storage variant and 2998 Yuan (INR 32,000 approximately) for the 256GB internal storage variant. The smartphone will go on sale in China from April 3, 2020.
