Xiaomi has finally unveiled the much anticipated “Flagship Killer 2.0” smartphone by the name Redmi K20 Pro with a starting price tag of 2499 Yuan (INR 25,200). As promised, it features a Snapdragon 855 processor paired with Adreno 640 GPU. The smartphone can be availed in Flame Red, Glacier Blue and Carbon Fiber Black colours while it will be available in China from June 1, 2019. The Redmi K20 Pro is expected to launch in India in the coming weeks and will compete in the market with the likes of OnePlus 7 and ASUS Zenfone 6.
Coming to the other specifications, the smartphone runs on MIUI 10 based on Android 9.0 Pie. Redmi K20 Pro features a 6.39-inch OLED full HD+ notch-less display with a pixel resolution of 2340×1080. The phone has been equipped with a seventh-gen in-display fingerprint scanner that captures the optical signal much faster. The smartphone packs a 4000mAh battery with 27W fast charging that enables the smartphone to charge 58% in just half an hour. The Redmi K20 Pro also gets a 3.5 mm headphone jack and support for Qualcomm Aqstic WCD9340 Hi-Fi audio.
In terms of camera specifications, the Redmi K20 Pro features a triple rear camera setup with a 48MP Sony IMX586 primary camera, a secondary 13MP super-wide-angle sensor, and a third 8MP telephoto lens. It also features a 20MP pop-up selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture that has been tested multiple time to check the reliability. The smartphone also gets a Game Turbo 2.0 feature for optimizing the gaming quality/sounds/touch for an excellent gaming experience. K20 Pro also features an 8 layer graphite cooling technology for keeping the smartphone last longer without compromising the gaming experience.
