Xiaomi Mi 6 with Snapdragon 835 and 6GB RAM Officially Announced

The era of smartphones is shifting to a new level through flagship devices from various manufacturers around the world. Xiaomi Mi 6 is one such example and would be on sale in China from April 28, 2017. The phone comes with impressive 5.15 inch, full HD display that comes with pressure sensitivity and 1500:1 contrast ratio. Powered by an 2.45GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 835 processor, the phone brings 6 GB of LPDDR4x RAM and an option between 64GB or 128 GB internal storage.

Xiaomi Mi 6 runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat with MIUI 8 on top and brings dual SIM support to its users. The front camera on the phone is 8 MP while rear uses dual 12 MP cameras with 4-axis optical image stabilization, 4K video support and dual tone LED flash. Covered in a stainless steel frame, Mi 6 brings support for stereo speakers, 3D curved glass and USB type-C connector for audio output (the phone has no 3.5mm headphone jack). The phone comes with fingerprint sensor, 4G LTE support and 3350 mAh of battery.

The phone comes in Blue, Black and White shade as standard while a Silver Edition with mirror finish steel frame is also available for the phone. The price starts from 2499 yuan (INR 23,420 approx) for the 64 GB internal storage variant and 2899 yuan (INR 27,190 approx) for the 128 GB model. The same spec phone with ceramic finish and 18K gold finish camera ring costs 2999 yuan (INR 28,100 approx). It may get an Indian launch soon in the coming weeks.
