Xiaomi has officially launched two new smartphones under its earlier confirmed Mi CC smartphone series. The Mi CC9 and Mi CC9e are the two mobile phones which fall under this series. A few days back the company announced their new series for smartphones which is targeted at youth globally. Xiaomi Mi CC’s product team will have ‘Chic & Cool’ members from the 90s, the youngest product team inside the company. The team comprises of more than half of the art and fine arts people who design their favourite products with aesthetics of art students.
Coming to the smartphones, the two phones comes featured with an AMOLED display from Samsung. Both come with an in-display fingerprint scanner, a triple rear camera setup which has a 48MP Sony IMX586 sensor with f/1.79 aperture, 8-MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2MP depth sensor. For the front, the smartphones come with a 32MP camera sensor from Samsung that merges four pixels to form large 1.6μm pixels for better low-light images and it also supports AI-beautify mode.
If we talk about the size, the Mi CC9 is comparatively bigger than CC9e as the former comes with a 6.39-inch display whereas CC9e has a 6.08-inch display. The processor of the CC9 is also advanced with Snapdragon 710 Octa-core platform, in contrast to which the CC9e comes with Octa-core Snapdragon 665 11nm chipset. Apart from these two phones, Xiaomi has also launched the CC9 Meitu edition which has gradient colour, reminiscent of the famous beaches of the Bahamas.
This version of the smartphone has similar specifications as the CC9, but it comes with highly-customized UI Theme and ringtone that vibes with its holographic back cover. Not only that the phone also has Meitu camera features and video editing capabilities, unique AI low-light portrait and also has superior AI beautify features.
The Mi CC9 and CC9 Meitu edition will go on sale in China from 5th of July whereas the CC9e will be available from 9th of July. There is no update regarding the launch of Mi CC series in India but we can expect it to launch in the coming weeks.
