Xiaomi Redmi 4A was recently launched in India for INR 5,999. The phone gets watered down features but still retains all the essential specifications for making it the best phone of its class. Xiaomi offers 5 inch HD display with 1000:1 contrast ratio, 1.4 GHz Quad Core Snapdragon 425 processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage and hybrid dual SIM slot. Redmi 4A runs on Android 6.0 and comes with 4G VoLTE for added utility.

The phone comes with 13 MP camera with PDAF for the rear and 5 MP fixed focus camera for the front. It measures 8.5 mm in thickness and weighs 131.5 grams. Xiaomi offers 3120 mAh non removable battery in Redmi 4A. It can be bought in Gray, Gold and Rose Gold shade. It will be exclusively sold through Amazon India’s website from 23rd March 2017. Rose Gold will make it into India later on 6th April 2017.
Xiaomi has taken the initiative of making their products in India, further leading to lower cost of manufacturing and currently satisfying 95 percent of the needs from the country itself. They even claim that 90 percent of their employees are women and they further plan to expand their 5000 employee team in the coming year. Xiaomi currently has two manufacturing plants in India currently.
