Xiaomi Redmi 5 Launched in India Starting @ INR 7999

Xiaomi Redmi 5 has been launched in India from INR 7,999. The model for this price comes with 2GB/16GB of RAM and internal storage. Byers can go for bigger 3GB/32GB variant for INR 8,999 while even bigger 4GB/64GB variant costs INR 10,999.

Buyers will get one clear case inside its box while Redmi 5 can be bought exclusively from Amazon India from March 20, 2018. Redmi 5 comes with 5.7-inch, 18:9 display unit with HD Plus resolution and 450 nits brightness. It runs Android 7.1.2 Nougat out of the box.

Power comes from 3300 mAh battery while processing is handled by 1.8GHz, Octa Core Snapdragon 450 processor with Adreno 506 GPU. The same processor is offered in all three variants. Expandable memory capacity on the phone is 128GB.

Redmi 5 supports hybrid dual SIM setup while fingerprint and infrared sensor further helps by adding security and versatility of use. The phone weighs 157 grams and measures 7.7mm in thickness. Xiaomi offers 12MP rear camera with LED flash while front is 5MP with soft LED flash. Other features on the phone includes 4G VoLTE, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.2 and GPS.
